My Lifeline

"Wait! Do that over, I didn't catch that on snapchat!"

Life is becoming a movie,

We live for views and not for the memories,

Who's to say that we'd remember them anyway?

We feel the need to tweet of an emergency before addressing it.

We feel the need to record a tragedy before taking action.

We feel the need to allow technology to ruin us.

You can have my heart,

Who needs one of those anyway?

Technology will be sure to replace it.

I am addicted and cannot life without

My Phone,

My Prized Possession,

My World,

My Lifeline.
