My Life's Need

My strength, my life, my need,

I keep You in mind through all of my deeds.

You are most important, the Light of the world,

Because of You, I’m more than a girl.

My Father, my God, my King,

You control my everything.

No fear, no doubt, no failure

Could ever separate me from my Savior.

I need You more than anything on earth!

Through You alone, I’ve had second birth.

Giving me new life and a purpose to live,

To no one but You my life I give.

If stranded alone with nothing at all,

I know that I could never withdraw

From Your great love! Your pow’r is mine.

Because of You, I have joy Divine.

God of the Bible, Oh God of Abraham!

I give you myself and all that I am.
