My Light
There might be hundreds of eyes on me But my eyes will always be on you I told myself I wouldn't rest until you and I could be I will give you all that I can make come true At first glance, I saw pure beauty. And each glance after, it only grew I put the thought in my head of you and I, then let it brew It dripped down to my eyes that saw nothing but glee When I saw you stroll through the hall so clear I had to pinch myself due to fear of a misleading frontier For the schemes to my dreams have been deemed unclear to others. Through that hallway I roamed No more! For now I call you my own. Wandering that hall lost I've paid the debt, I've paid the cost I graze my fingers on your face, I think to myself, you are my ace. I gave it time For me to find The state of mind That I wished to climb. You light up and you glow Like that of a double Rainbow When I say the simple truth, that I know Let your heart be the guide My love is a chariot Come take it for a ride We share this passion For the attraction we thrive When we look into each others eyes I don't have a magical cure But the love that flows out of this heart is pure I won't be perfect, but I'll try not to add to your pain I'll be like no other to you, but I'll also be plain. You'll be my queen and I your king That way we will reign! This kingdom we call life. You'll be mine Til the end of time And still then, we'll be lords of time to continue the guild And the emotions will build. You will feel fulfilled You dream of good love The best Well I come as a gift from above Say my name and you'll see You'll find it only if you dig in my chest I climb up and it's you at the end of that rope I'll add this quote Of my passion, right after you My love is not for those who don't For those who can't or for those who won't. My love is not for the weak For those who act hard but are too soft to speak My love is not for anything untrue... My love is for you... |
