My Lighthouse

Since the day you were born

You stood proud and tall

 Living each day

Not afraid of the fall

You help others in need

Without a second thought

Your kind words and embrace

The happiness you’ve brought

You raised two daughters

You showed them the light

Safety is home

Love is always right

You keep our family strong

Guiding us the way

Pointing to the direction

From the light we wont stray

You are a lighthouse

Bearing the beam on me

With your strength and love

A lighthouse I will be

Like footprints in the sand

Never to be washed away

An imprint on my heart

Forever you will stay
