MY LINE JUST GONE COLD
My Line Just Gone Cold
My days are long, and my nights are to
Without you its been so cold and my world
Seem so empty you see ,
The moment you said you loved me ,
I sent you a kiss to Paris , I knew it was right
To love you ,
I want you with all of my might that lost lone
Nights it was cold out side .
The calls you gave warmed my soul to a better
State of mind oh how I cried for you to hold me
The hopes that we shared,
The dreams that we dream t to have when the hard times past ,
Then you turned around and said nothing was meant to last,
I should have know love don't happen on the phone ,
The memories we've got, the joy we gave and the pain
Are finished, forgotten and forgiven .
You said that you care, that's no longer enough you see
You want to be free,
So when you call you will find I was not home to pickup the phone
My line just gone cold .
I hope that you're happy in all that you do ,
That all my pain and my hurt you never go through.
You weren't just my lover one the phone but my best friend that got
Me through some very lonely nights ,
If I meet someone else, and I'm not sure I will
This hole in my heart he never can fill.
With you all my dreams looked like coming true
You've robbed me of those, what can I now do?
You said that you loved me, that we should get wed.
I feel like this is going to fast ,
I got a bad feeling that I should let you go
And this is what I did ,
I swept you out of my life like the dust on the floor.
And when you call my line will be cold because this
Love has gone cold .
