My Little World

The place where I belong

Blue like a sky without the clouds

A place where my feelings are not judged

Happiness, sadness, or loneliness

The place where I could be myself

Let my hair down, no makeup on

Wear sweat pants

and long t-shirts

I miss the day

I sat on the bed

looked around my little world

North, South, East and West

The vast walls standing in each corner of the room
A blue roof on top kept me secure
The corner of my bed

filled with books of scary knowledge

When the door was open,
The little sweet breeze felt frozen
Even though I couldn’t see, but I could
Feel it, smell it and taste it

That’s the place where I belong

It’s as deep as an ocean without drowning

The worries of the day melted into peace

That’s the way I like it, no noise, no sound
