My Lonely Battlefield.

My Pride stands along the frontline alone
My Eyes become dark and hide within frame
Falling apart, I cannot see the throne

My Heart claims love as if it were not known
That lust only lives to ruin the name
My Pride stands along frontline alone

My Desire deceives, it moves to postpone
The success of my actions and shame.
Falling apart, I cannot see the throne

My Mind plays tricks between my bone
It cowers behind answers to the blame
My Pride stands along the frontline alone

My Strength is consumed by the warzone
It is indifferent to failure and fame
Falling apart, I cannot see the throne

My Soul is but not possessed by my own
Being, just a slave of this pitiless game
My Pride stands along the frontline alone
Falling apart, I cannot see the throne
