My Long Lost Inspiration

Inspiration, inspiration.

Searching for it is frustration.

Makes me ooze with perspiration!

Inspiration, inspiration.

Inspiration, inspiration.

Finding artistic salvation!

Perhaps I need a beach vacation,

To find my long lost inspiration.

Inspiration, inspiration!

Searching all across the nation.

The whole land reeks of gross stagnation,

When it comes to inspiration.

Inspiration, inspiration!

Exaggerated exhalation.

My heart seems to embrace deflation,

In this search for inspiration.

Inspiration, inspiration.

My thoughts embark on a migration.

I sit and rest in consternation.

No need for any inspiration.

Inspiration, inspiration!

Roaring like a conflagration!

Now I’m filled with new elation,

As I burst with inspiration!

Inspiration, inspiration.

Leaving me in devastation,

And then a sudden escalation!

You confuse me, Inspiration.
