My Love

Why is my love

So much less

Than any other?

When I love

with such ferocity

and with such

burning passion

that it is more

if not just equal

to the love

which you show him?

Just because my love

is directed to her

while I am a her

does not make it less

or me less

or anyone less.

It just means that she

is more to me

than anyone else

could ever be

and I cannot see

what is wrong with that.
