My Love
Her eyes
A deep beautiful brown
She thinks they’re simple
I know they’re wonderful
They crinkle
When she laughs
They get this sweet glimmer
It makes me happy she’s mine
Her smile
Her lips and naturally dark red
She thinks it’s just a smile
I know it’s just a small part of her beauty
Her lips part so wide
Her smile is so open
So inviting
Who knew a simple action could make me so happy?
Her laugh
Musical each giggle a note
She thinks its obnoxious
I know its music
From the small giggles
To the uncontrollable laughter
It’s all so perfect
It’s all so her
Her
The best girlfriend ever
She thinks she’s just an average girl
But I know she’s the brightest light
She so sweet
So kind
So amazing
So mine
This girl that I love
Is the epitome of perfection
I can’t imagine a day without her
Lucky for me I don’t have to
For her I started writing poetry
The way I felt couldn’t be described by simple words
They needed a poetic air
To reach their true meaning
Poetry has an interesting knack
It explains one’s deepest feelings
From the love that burns the deepest
To the sorrow that threatens to extinguish those flames
From the simple red roses
And blue violets
To the more intricate expressions of my love
They are all for her
