My Love

Hello my love,

How'd you sleep last night?

I hope you had a good dream.

Maybe about me?

Well you see,

I had one of you too.

We were on a date

at our favorite sushi place

We laughed while we ate,

Now I'm waking up late.

Instead of you, it's the ceiling.

I thought, "Aw dang, is this true love I'm feeling?"

I roll over and reach for my phone.

A text is waiting all alone.

I see that it's from you.

It reads,

"Hello my love,

How'd you sleep last night?

I swear I had a dream about you."
