To My Love

I love you

But sometimes I do not know why

For I know it is not the bouquets of flowers

Nor the presents you bestow

Maybe it is your hand intertwined with mine

Or the feeling as though we were meant to be

Maybe it is the daily good morning greetings

Or the countless kisses every night

Maybe it is the unconditional trust we share

Or the endless compassion you show

For I know it is not the bouquets of flowers

But I know I love you so
