My love
If I could do it all again
I would make a better mistake.
If I could do it all again
I would drive a lighter stake.
If only I knew how to be brave
for the sake of another's love.
If only I knew the pain I could save
With one less exclamation.
Now with hindsight still fresh
I can't imagine how I could.
I've hurt the one I love the most
But she stays when I don't know why she would.
