My Love
I cover up the traces of tears, a futile attempt.
Forever they are stained until I meet my exempt.
Sadly, only you hold my skeleton key.
Don't bother asking for it is lost at sea.
My love, my love.
Oh how I wish I could say that as you are from above.
That voice of yours toys as it rings.
The puppeteer to my heartstrings.
I should break away, turn around.
However, your warmth brings me back from the ground.
That time we shared I cherish most.
But now they haunt me, the forever ghost.
My love, my love.
Oh how I wish I could say that as you are from above.
I scream, "why did you leave, leave me?
Come back here before I fall to me knees!"
I miss the warmth, I miss the touch you had.
Just thinking of it makes me go mad.
"Come back here, come home.
I want your fingers in my hair as my comb.
Come back here, this feeling is more than love.
More than that simple word, it is purer than a dove"
My undying, my undoing.
Why haven't I shown this before our ending?
"Come back home, I love you.
Please forgive me, as I have forgiven you."
