My Love
The first time you came up to me when I was sad,
While others around me just ignored me,
I saw eyes filled with mercy and heart filled with kindness.
You wiped away my tears and made me smile.
That day I held you tight and never let you go,
Because I love you.
You showed me your real face by telling truth and being honest,
While others wore masks by telling lies and being fake.
You showed me what’s good and wrong,
Changing my life from darkness to brightness.
That day I started to live a meaningful life on,
Because I love you.
You aided others in need with what you have and in ways you can.
You didn’t forget where you came from and
People who helped you reach this height of success.
You showed me not just your beauty outside, but also inside.
That day I decided to give what I have with others too,
Because I love you.
You offered me your hand to make me get up and rise again.
You were always there with me,
At the time of my happiness and sadness.
You brought smiles and laughter to my face.
That day I opened to share my life truly with you,
Because I love you.
You didn’t change from the time I met you to the time right now.
You accepted your own mistakes,
Showing me that I was right.
You taught me the meaning of patience and pardon.
That day I learned to adjust in life to keep a good relationship,
Because I love you.
You loved me deeply accepting all my lack and weakness.
You accepted all my faults and failures.
At times of my difficulties and impossibilities,
You brought hope and strength in me to make it possible.
That day I realized to never give up in anything or anyone,
Because I love you.
No matter what, no matter how you look, no matter where you are,
I will always care for you, believe in you, understand you,
Protect you, forgive you, and love you unconditionally.
You are the soul, the breath, the water, and the light to my life.
Without you, there is no me.
I love you, so much, my precious love.
