To My Love

Dear Logan,

It's hard for me to write this

Because I could never tell you face to face

How much I miss the taste of your kiss

How much I miss your embrace

Those endless nights talking made it worth while

Your sweet words drew me in closer than before

You brought me right back into our old lifestyle

You said you wouldn't hurt me again-you swore

But it seems promises mean nothing at all

You can't help but break my heart

But its my fault-you're my downfall

I should know we only start to fall apart

You can't see what's right in front of you

Your fear blinds you of how great we could be

So once again, I'm just passing through

Knowing you'll never be ready to commit to me

But in a few months when you call

Saying how much you regret losing me

For the third time, I'll put you above all

Hoping we could finally be all that I see

So next time, please don't play games

Don't come back just to say goodbye

My heart can't take much more pain

I can't be left asking myself why

So, my love

Please don't keep letting my heart bleed

Because getting over you is something I'm incapable of

You're everything I need

Love always,

                  Christina
