My Love

Dear Lacy,

How do I start?

Where do I start?

You’re everything to me. You complete me.

When I’m down, you bring me up.

There’s not a time you can’t ever cheer me up.

We have our ups and downs, but always find a way to keep it up.

When you smile, I smile.

If you ever shed a tear,

I will be there to make it clear.

Where would I be without you.

There’s nothing you wouldn’t do to help me.

There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to help you.

I never thought I would meet somebody with so much perfection.

The way you show me attention.

The way I can act around you.

I can be me with you.

You are not just the person I love.

You’re also my companion.

You are the happiness that I’ve been searching for.

It is never a dull moment with you.

What am I without you?

Sincerely,

David

This is a poem to my girlfriend who I care about so much. It’s not hard to write about someone or something that you love so much. Words just come out and you don’t even have to think about it. There’s just so much you can explain about a person you love.
