My Love

First you said that you would do anything for me,
Then you leave me.

You change your mind,

Shutting me out of your life all together.
Now that I have done you wrong,

You will not say what it was that I had done.
Your wish was always my command.

For this will be the last time,

As she will get what she has always wanted.
You get to keep the relationship,

The one with whom has been removing me from your life,

As if I was the weed in your beautiful garden.
Keep going with what it is that you are doing,

For it is not going to end as you have hoped.
You will never get to hear about my growth

Nor how much better I have become,
You will wish that you had never lost me,

For that is not how the world works.
I have finally moved on.

I will never look back to the way things used to be.
