My Love

Roses are red

Violets are blue

The sugar was sweet

Just like you

So bright

And so beautiful

Yet with venom for me

And a love not to be full

My roses turn red

And my violets soon dead

The burning pain

My love stained red

Left and used

Gullible and not alive

No love for me

Of a measurable size

The fire turns red

The memories still hot

I've burned the memories

But they still knot

Bruised black

Black to blue

My heart now there

Because of you

Love turned red

Passion turned blue

My life is purple

A mix of the two

Full of pain

Laying down in bed

You have a new man

Now I'm all dead

Doors made locked

Screams bleed through

All this pain

Because of you

Throat blood red

I see tears pour

From my eyes

Onto the floor

My violets now dead

And roses crying

Your voice in my head

But I'll keep trying

My roses were red

And my violets were blue

The sugar was sweet

Just like you

But my love has roses now shriveled

And lovely violets that aren't blue

My love and the flowers now gone

And the memories will be too
