"My love"

The day our eyes met,

I knew you would be the best thing in my life yet.

When I heard the news,

I knew I wouldn't be able to snooze.

Those ocean blue eyes,

Coerced me to smile at the prize.

My heart skipped a beat,

And raced like an athlete.

Exhilirated spirits ran throughout my body,

This tingling feeling transmitted to everybody.

I pledged to love you,

And never alienate you.

From that day on, he was the apple of my eye,

And our bond is destined to never die.
