My Love
My love is like the wind
it spreads out
it blows in
it is faster now
it was slower then
it opens doors
it closes them
it can be faint
it can be heavy
it can be quiet
it can be loud
it can swirl all about
but it is always there
for you
for me
and everyone as far as the eye can see

Personal love metaphor elevated to universal, philosophical scope.
Dense accumulation of parallel clauses; many ideas compressed tightly.
Affirmative tone about love's constancy; optimistic despite contradictions.
Kinetic wind imagery; rapid-fire clauses create propulsive momentum.
Approximately 12-13 lines; falls in 7-15 range.
Central extended simile; personification of wind; rich sensory language throughout.
Lyric first-person voice; internal meditation on love without narrative or dramatic shift.
