My Love My World

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Sugar is sweet
How about you

You make me laugh
You make me cry
You cause my heart to flutter by

My eyes zoom in on you

As you walk into the room and I see you
I feel like there's nothing I can't do

When I feel light

When I feel small

You're always there to make me tall

What is love

What is life

It's you of course when I take flight

Is this what it means to love

To see the light

To see a dove

If so may this feeling never end

May this feeling prosper

Till the very end

While I adore you

My body soars

Feels like my heart roars

As I look up into the sky

With the stars twinkling and blinking

I see you winking right at me

You are my treasure

Your existence a pleasure

I don't need to measure my love for you

As my poem comes to end

As our love mends

May our love never bend

For that's how much I love you
