My Love Poem

If love was real

where is it found?

Is it above heaven

or underground?

Where is love

if it's not around?

Should I be looking

where no one would look?

Inside my heart

that will start a fire,

but when it's quenced out

it won't desire.

Love is gone

why am I here

I have no one to love.

Love runs away

Love tries to fix

but it also breaks in two.

So that it will be separate

from me to you.

Only if you would learn

then love would burn

but until then,

love stands quiet and still.

Wait for another moment

for it to be used and fufilled

Some say love can never be found

but I'm telling you,

"Are you around?"

So I'm going to say goodbye

to the one I really tried.

Guess it wasn't enough

to make you fall back in love.
