My Love Song Starts With...
My Love Song Starts With..
Love songs have a tune,
But mine does not,
Love songs talk about love,
But mine does not,
My love song starts with, a broken heart,
Put back together over and over again,
Just to be broken once more
My love song starts trust issues,
That are like brick walls,
Each time a brick is set is a time that my trust was unset,
Now there is a fortress built from those bricks of broken trust,
Hiding away inside,
My love song starts with shyness,
From of a girl who dreams of finding her prince charming but,
doesn’t think she’s a princess herself,
My love song starts with cuts,
Her back covered with scars,
From being stabbed in the back unable to stand up straight,
My love song starts with bruises,
From being beat down,
Kicked in the ribs.
Hit over and over again.
My love song starts with tear stains.
My love song starts with a mixture of being drunk and sober,
Drunk on the fake love,
Knowing it isn’t right,
But so used to it being this way.
My love song starts with broken lyrics and broken parts.
My love song starts with...ME...
