My Love Was Never Meant To Be Afraid

My love was never meant to be afraid In any way, capacity or form. When it is wrong, it still is always brave, Unwavering until it is no more. In this I know that I do love him not, For love and fear are not synonymous; Except in fear and love of mighty God, The combination can't belong in us. So as I tremble with his every glance And see the daze within his blood-blue eyes, I see that this is no man in romance; 'Tis one who looks upon me as a prize. If run I can, I will 'til my last breath; If fight I must, I'll battle him 'til death.
