My Love for You

Saying I love you is a hard thing to do

When you’re away

Everything about you is running through my head

I love you as the sun that rises every morning

But carries the light around the world

For your love I am thankful for waking up every morning

With a smile to start off a long day

I love you without knowing why or how

Your love is like no other

I love you because that’s the only way to go

The way you hold me so tightly

The way you kiss me so softly

The way you talk so smoothly

My love for you became instant

So close I feel your soul

So close to your heart
