My Love for You

My love for you is a fire,

It burns, grows, and fails to tire.

My love for you is a tower,

Your love and friendship give me power.

Your commitment and joy are fertile soil,

Through which my heart does jovially toil.

You've the empathy and patience of a doe,

And in our dire times, with radiance you glow.

In our love we find stalwart might,

Through which we vanquish and quell our many plights.

We take heed to one another, and know our many faults,

We accept each other in all of our fallings,

For it is that which secures our love's bindings.

Without you at my side, I am but one,

For you are my support, you are my bastion.
