For My Loved Ones

woke up without you and was frightened,

the darkness scares me.

My memories are full of it, with

no stars, no beauty, nobody.

I made it to the first light though

just as before.

My reward? A sad sunrise.

Yet I smile.

I realize I have won

on my own.

Now you are with me;

I finally

see the beauty

of the

night, the dark,

and the

stars.
