My Memories

If not for memories I would be lost. As days before me cannot bring the peace, that life behind me gave at little cost. Yes, longing for that life, will never cease I seek in every corner of my mind, each moment of the joy that used to be; to fill my heart with all I might still find. I do so miss my Richard, close to me.. If only in a dream, that might not last, to see his handsome face is all I ask. I pray the moments do not pass...so fast, as in my past I would so long to bask. If not for memories, I might have missed, how wonderful sweet love was in our midst.
