my memory of you

goodbye my love

your light is gone

forever diminished is my song

the light that led me

my memory a blur

you left me nothing, nothing but a word

you brought me down

our time is done

your laughter and kindness seems almost gone

i soon move on and clear my head

i find a note that i had read

your one last word that you left me

i read it again

and remembered that you loved me
