My Mentor

“Mediocrity is not allowed

You know as well as I

For when we tolerate thoughts of simplicity

Ah, the creative will fall.

Then, we shall stand with heavy heads bowed

How voices will run dry.

Even the strong will soon fall to complacency

Resist it, and muster the gall.”
