My Mentor

When it comes to mentors theres no much to say

They're all here to help in all sorts of ways

they say the two fist you posses

dont have to be used to make a mess

fighing is not the answer

Using your voice is taking the next step

but they don't know

But really they do

the relations they have can help you

Just sit there and spit everything out

You find out they "live next to your house"

knock knock knock its really just de ja vu

When theres a will theres a way

all you have to do is deticate

No one said it would be easy

but thats the whole point

Cause no one can guide you but the reflection of yourself

But its not like you didnt know

Its only that you needed a little carved path way for you to stroll

And thats what mentors are for

to Seek and Guide

and for that

I am grateful

Thank you for teaching me to be a man.
