My Mentor

This one’s for my mom

The one who has supported me even before day one

There is something special about her

On the darkest days she is my sun

A woman of pure grace

A person who showed me the good and the bad

A role model above all

She carries my weight when I am sad

She taught me dignity

She taught me pride

She taught me how to spell my name

She caught me when I lied

My morals come from her

My love for her is immense

My whole existence is dedicated to her

You and me mom, we make sense
