My Mentor, My Coach

My mentor, my coach,
With his teachers approach,
Made our team a success,
Wishing us only the best.
He made promises to support,
And he never came up short,
Although we would complain,
He showed us what we would gain.
Running was hard, make no mistake,
But with him as our coach, we made it to state.
We owe it to him, although we didn't win,
We learned valuable lessons that made an impression.
So thank you coach Geiger, for how you inspire,
You're hard work is something I'll always admire.
