my mentors

a lack of adventure pulls at my soul

a world filled with bland disappointmentscosed eyes reflecting the minds they belong too

but the pages smelled of magic and fire

they showed love and confusion, openings to new worlds

taking me away and with them through dangers of mind and body

opened my eyes to myself and others

not alone with those pages filled

sent as guides, as inspirations, pulling open my eyes
