My Mess

My mess

Is waiting in my apartment

Is waiting under my bed

Is waiting by the train

Is waiting on hold

Is waiting in my thoughts, evaded and feared

I'm waiting too

Waiting for someone to tell me, "clean this up!"

Waiting to live until I can breathe

Waiting to see if I will act or passively drown

It's my choice

It's my mess
