My Message

I speak, I preach I’ll make you think This was some MLK speech, Ha; and ya’ll think that I’m joking? But you’re the game, And I'm the token, So let me put this knowledge in your mind, You say that you're busy and that you don’t have the time, But in the back of your head, You know that you're lying, The guilt is killing you, So why are you trying? I know the path that you're walking, The weight is bearing down, And satin; he's stalking, Straight over your head, He's like a vulture in the desert, Wanting you to be dead, The best is yet to come, You just have to believe, But all you want is success; pride; and greed, Those are the reasons, Your heart continues to bleed, Because your focus, Isn't where it should be. I was told to smile now, And cry never, Those are the reasons That I don't endeavor, The pain that you feel, So let me start from the beginning of the wheel. I didn't start off winning, I was always messing up, All I did was sinning, And then God picked me up, Now I'm no longer leaning, On the material things, Yeah; that's better living. What you see here, What you hear here, What you say here, Let it stay here. Shush; I was told to be quiet Otherwise I might end up starting a riot, And it's killing you, Cause the industry, They buy it, When I say things about you, And I know that you're crying, You put the gun to your head, And you wanted to pull the trigger, Cause you'd rather be dead. But instead; you learned how to survive, And now God is the reason why you're still alive, So man up; and don't be afraid to give praise, I'm just trying to speak the truth, Cause in these devilish days, We killing each other, Like are you out of your mind? I'm trying to touch someone, No soul here left behind, I'm trying to get a spark So the world can shine, Cause we are caught in the dark, Call it mentally blind.
