My Mind

Dear Mind,

Look at you a cacophony of noise. Constant yet... forever changing.

A squall of color that finds solace in the lack of it,

A creature forever static in its own pacing.

You could wear a hole in the rug with your circles,

Or you could find movement by pulling those lax strings taunt,

Twitching - a finger.

Taking a breath.

Let your thoughts move, let them live~

Act as lungs taking in and expelling out.

Yet! like a warden of a prison you find this unchanging grey comfortable.

To create is to live, but to stay still is to survive.

Live,

Survive,

Live,

Survive,

Live-

Make a choice to B

                              E

                                 N

                                     D or to stand.

No! I’ll make it.

Lets stand.

Respectfully,

         My Mind
