My Mind

My mind is a series of disconnected thoughts,

floating around aimlessly, mixing together in the pot.

My mind is a labyrinth, twisting this way then that

Ideas try to escape, but, oops- dead end, then splat!

My mind is a vortex, absorbing knowledge and fact,

But trying to express my learnings? Oh no! My mind won't have that.

I try and I try to make people see

the true intelligence that lies within me.

But, they see what they want and judge how they will.

Oh well, There is time for me still.
