In My Mind

In my mind, I'm just a blind man doing time Another prisoner of society's cruelty My heart filled with pain My mind crowded with hatred From racism and ignorance of humanity When people are scared to be who they are Refusing to take a stand for what's right But speak on having rights When families are forced to spend Lonely nights praying for those they lost In my mind, I'm just a blind man doing time Another prisoner of society cruelty
