My Mind

Sanity.

What a crucial need.

Why?

To keep scary thoughts out of me.

When,

There is none to talk to.

Who?

Can I choose to run to.

My Mind,

such a scary place.

On a deserted island,

wind on my face.

Isolation,

A dangerous fate.

Sanity.

My grip has been misplaced
