My Mind vs Heart

Sometimes I wonder how different my life would be

If I obeyed by my mind more than my heart.

Because my mind tells me,

Worry about yourself and

Fuck everybody else, while my

Heart is telling me,

Be a good guy and

Do what makes you happy.

These two things are at war.

But my heart has won most of the battles.

But there’s only one positive thing I would get

If I obeyed by my mind more,

And that’s success.

But what’s the point of that

When it could lead me into being a successful asshole?

So I guess my mind will never win this war.

It would lead me to prosperity,

But my character would be corrupted.

So I guess I’ll see how far I get

If I have the mentality,

But not the personality.
