My MJ

My baby MJ

Always by my side

Down to walk, down to ride

Ever since my mama died

The love I feel from her made me feel whole again

Before, it was like a part of me was missing

The way she greets me when I come home

Like she hasn't seen me in years, when in fact it's been hours

Her consolation was better than any bouquet of flowers

When she heard me wail

She would wag her tail,

kiss me and fill the gaping hole

Festering deep within my soul

Unconditional love

Woman's best friend

Sent to me from my angel up above
