My Mom
The first feeling of warmth I felt
Came from you
Nurturing me from day one
Though, the milk came from a bottle
and I spit out the pacifier every time
I smiled whenever I saw you
stopped crying when you picked me up
and fell asleep in your arms
Wherever I am, if you are there
I am home
I love you mom
