My Mom

Wisdom, courage, brave, hard working Things she was so good at beyond my imagination Her face was like no other being She had a mole on the weirdest part of her nose But she called it her beauty mark She worried about what people thought about her clothes Always buying the nicest clothes even if she couldn't afford it She is almost at the point where working out would be too hard for her With her flabby arms and a decent size belly She had taught me so much Way more than I could have on my own She played a big part in my life She was someone I share dark and loving moments in the past With many more to come I know I’ve done things differently Things I shouldn’t have done Things I should’ve done, but I was too ignorant and selfish Things I should’ve said, but couldn’t because I was afraid No matter what happened She accepted me and guided me She helped break through obstacles we didn’t think we can My mom is a fire, keeping the family warm She is a clock, keeping track of time She is a book, always having something to say She is an ocean, casting bad times away She is a chilly night in spring She is a sun rising in the sky She is a glowing moon in the night She is like a math problem, hard to figure out She is a bowl, of the most sweetest ice cream you can get My mom may be the most marvelous, motivating, magnificent mother She is the person responsible for being who I am today
