My Mom, My All

There are a few things in the world important to me,

But if I had to decide on what I can't live without.

I could say my telephone or tv,

But it would be my mom without a doubt.

She is my mentor, my friend, my champion,

Only wanting great things for me.

She always encourages me to do my best,

Now I understand and see.

She told me to believe in myself,

And always stay the course.

As long as I look inside of me,

I could always find the source.

I know that I can do anything,

Nothing is impossible to achieve.

My mom taught me to think like that,

And that I'll always believe.

I absolutely need my mom,

She is so full of grit.

If I didn't have her around,

I wonder if I'd have made it.
