My Mom, My Inspiration

You were there when I was down and out

When no one wanted me

I was on my knees ready to shout

At only age three

It took many years

But you finally saved me

And dried up all my tears

The powers to be had a plan for me

You are my mom

You inspire me to do my best

You rescued me from certain doom

The love you expressed

Inspired me to be like you someday mom
