My Montage

There was no one scene,

Rather a filmic montage,

In which I grew up.

There were lonely scenes,

Ones of loss and betrayal,

With salty tear tracks.

There were happy scenes,

Ones of laughter and smiles,

With my two best friends.

There were lovely scenes,

With my crushes and lover,

Who made me flustered.

I was a child.

I remember nostalgia.

It was very sweet.

I am not a child.

Memories are all I need

To grow up stronger

I am the director.

I created my montage.

I am who I am.

Give me an Oscar.
