My Mother

I am a kind person because my mother raised me To be kind to others. I am an artist, because my mother always praises My talent and tells me to never give up. My mother is my guiding star Steering me into the light. I am no longer shy. When I was young I closed myself off from the world, Until my mother helped me open my closed Door, and rejoin the world of light. I had allowed people with negative thoughts About me bring me down, but my mother Showed me how to be a proud African American woman.
