to my mother

Mother, dear mother of mine

You are truly my only friend in this world

Let me tell you everything that Haught’s my mind

With regrets little to none

Torn in two I was taught

To both be vocal and to be silenced

Fear was my childhood

Death could be my savior…

No

Mother, dear mother of mine

You had to play both loving parents

To make up for the scars

Left behind by the missing parent

Depression clouds me

I fight so vigilantly

As to not put any more scars

On my real guardian’s heart

I will make you proud
